What to do
- Move long-term holdings to a hardware wallet (Ledger / Trezor) on a fresh seed
- Use a passphrase ('25th word') for serious balances
- Store the seed offline only — never in a password manager, photo, or cloud note
- Use a separate 'hot' wallet with small balances for daily DeFi or trading
- Enable hardware-key 2FA (YubiKey) on the exchange and the email tied to it
