    What to do

      • Switch to authenticator-app or hardware-key 2FA on the bank and email
      • Enable transaction alerts so any unauthorised attempt pings you instantly
      • Turn on Confirmation of Payee / payee verification if available
      • Bookmark the bank's real URL and only use that — never click bank links in email or SMS
