Freeze and Recover a Pension or Super Account

    Retirement-fund fraud often involves rolled or withdrawn money — call urgently to halt transactions.

    What to do

      • Call the fund's fraud line and ask them to freeze the account immediately
      • Restore the correct bank account, contact details and beneficiaries
      • Reverse or block any pending withdrawal, rollover or contribution change
      • If money has already left the fund, ask them to start an industry recall (super-fund/SIPP/IRA fraud schemes)
      • Get a fraud case reference and a written outline of next steps
