    Use the in-app flow AND the funding bank/card — the two paths can both succeed.

    What to do

      • PayPal: open a 'Resolution Center' dispute — Item not received or Unauthorised transaction
      • Venmo / Cash App: report via 'Get Help' → 'Report a payment'
      • Zelle: report through your bank's app — Zelle now reimburses verified impersonation scams (since June 2023)
      • Also dispute with the bank or card that funded the P2P transfer — they can sometimes reverse the funding leg
