Clean a Suspicious Device Before Using Banking Again
Remove anything suspicious and assume passwords saved on this device need to be rotated.
What to do
- Uninstall every remote-access tool you don't recognise or actively use
- Run Malwarebytes or Windows Defender Offline / a reputable Mac scanner
- Sign out of all sessions on the bank, email and password manager
- Change banking passwords from a different device, then sign back in here
