    When the introduction came through a chat or dating contact, the 'investment' is almost always a long-running script.

    What to do

      • Save every message, voice note and photo of the contact before blocking — police will need it
      • Reverse-image-search their profile photo (TinEye / Google Images) to spot stolen models
      • Check whether the platform name appears on FCA / ASIC / SEC / IC3 pig-butchering warning lists
      • List every deposit and every wallet/account they routed you through — these are the laundering legs
