    Each app has its own scam-claim flow — using the right one matters.

    What to do

      • Note the exact app (PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Wise, Revolut)
      • Note the funding source (bank, debit card, credit card) — that funding leg may be reversible separately
      • Save the in-app transaction screen and any receipt email
      • Note whether the recipient is a 'business' or 'personal' account (affects PayPal protection)
