    1. Enable Two-Factor Authentication

    • Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication
    • Choose Authentication App (recommended) or SMS
    • Save backup codes securely offline

    2. Review Third-Party Apps

    • Settings → Security → Apps and Websites
    • Remove unrecognised or unused apps

    3. Verify Contact Information

    • Confirm email and phone under Personal Information
    • Use a secure email only you access
    • Enable login request notifications

    4. Review Login Activity

    • Check Settings → Security → Login Activity regularly
    • Log out of unrecognised sessions

    5. Strengthen Your Password

    • Use a unique password of at least 16 characters
    • Never reuse elsewhere — use a password manager

    6. Privacy Settings

    • Set account to Private if personal
    • Restrict who can message you
    • Disable activity status if not needed
    • Review tagged photos and manage tag settings
