How to Reset Tampered iPhone Settings and Reclaim Control

Review and Revoke App Permissions

Untrusted apps might gain access to your personal information. Regularly check and revoke unnecessary permissions to enhance your privacy.

Go to Settings.
Scroll down and tap Privacy & Security.
Review categories like Photos, Microphone, Camera, and Location Services.
Tap on each app listed and change its access to 'Never' or 'Ask Next Time Or When I Share' if you're unsure.

Only grant permissions to apps you trust and that genuinely need them to function.

Configuration profiles can alter your iPhone's settings without your direct knowledge. These are sometimes installed by malicious apps or websites.
