Set up a family safe-word and warn the household

Voice clones can be made from a few seconds of audio scraped from social media. A shared word that's never been spoken publicly is the simplest defence.

    Choosing a safe word

      • Don't pick something obvious (pet name, kid's nickname)
      • Pick something not in your social media or public posts
      • Make it easy to remember under stress
