If you've lost access to your TikTok account, act quickly. TikTok has several recovery options that can help you regain control.

⏱ Act fast. Hackers may change your linked email and phone to lock you out permanently.
Step 1: Use the Login Help Flow
On the TikTok login screen, tap Use phone / email / username, then tap Forgot password?. Enter your email or phone to receive a reset code.
Important
If the hacker changed your email and phone, this won't work. Move to Step 2.
Step 2: Report to TikTok Support
- Open TikTok and go to the login screen
- Tap Need help? or visit support.tiktok.com
- Select Report a problem → Account and profile → Account hacked
- Provide your account details, original email/phone, and describe the issue
- TikTok may ask for identity verification

💡 Tip: TikTok response times vary. Check your email regularly for updates from TikTok support.
Step 3: Secure Your Account Once Recovered
- Change your password to a strong, unique one
- Enable two-step verification (Settings → Security → 2-step verification)
- Review and update your linked email and phone number
- Remove any unfamiliar linked third-party accounts (Google, Facebook, etc.)
- Review your posted videos and DMs for suspicious activity
- Check your privacy settings
