Enable Lockdown Mode for Extreme Protection

- Open the Settings app.
- Navigate to
Privacy & Security. - Scroll down and tap
Lockdown Mode. - Tap
Turn On Lockdown Modeand thenTurn On Lockdown Modeagain to confirm. - Review the restrictions and tap
Turn On & Restart. Your iPad will restart to enable the feature.

- Open the Settings app.
- Tap
General. - Tap
Software Update. Your iPad will check for available updates. - If an update is available, tap
Download and Install. Ensure your iPad is connected to Wi-Fi and has sufficient battery or is plugged in. - Enable
Automatic Updatesby tapping on it, then ensureDownload iPadOS UpdatesandInstall iPadOS Updatesare both switched on.

Review Your Privacy Settings

Privacy & Securitysection, ensurePrevent Cross-Site Trackingis switched on. - Also in the
Privacy & Securitysection, turn onHide IP Addressand selectFrom Trackers and Websitesto better protect your online identity. - Enable
Fraudulent Website Warningto receive alerts when visiting suspicious sites. - Consider using a reputable content blocker to reduce ads and trackers. You can find these in the App Store and enable them under
Extensionsin Safari settings.
